Adult Volleyball League provides a rotation of games for all registered teams with regular season standings and play-offs. Games are played weeknights during the fall season.

Eligibility: All those at least 17 years of age or older. For any person 17 years of age, a parent/guardian must be present at all games and must also sign the waiver for their participation. This league is offered to Greenwich residents and non-residents, however there is a limit of 4 non-residents per team roster. In place of Greenwich residency, participants that are employed by a Greenwich based corporation or business are eligible and not included as one of the 4 non-residents permitted per team. Each team is allowed a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 6 players on their roster.

Schedule: The season begins on Wednesday, October 2. Depending on the number of teams in the league, games will be scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday evenings. Teams will be scheduled to play 1 - 2 games per week. Some teams may be scheduled to play a double-header (two games back-to-back on the same evening). Mondays and Wednesdays will be the primary game days and Fridays are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Game times are at 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. The start times will vary each week for the teams.

Location: Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road, Greenwich

Fees: One-time entry fee per team - $375
Greenwich resident team managers/captains will make team payment during enrollment.

Participant Information:
• Players must wear sneakers while on the courts.
• Volleyball nets and balls are provided.

Staff: The Recreation Division will assign a Volleyball Recreation Leader to oversee games, ensure equipment is available and in good order, check rosters and eligibility, and submit game scores for the league standings. The Volleyball Rec Leader can answer questions regarding game rules and can keep score for teams that do not have an unbiased score keeper.
