Platform Tennis
Membership is required to play paddle tennis on the courts. Season Members may reserve two 1-hour time slots per week (consecutive hours permitted). Reservations must be made at the time of purchase for the entire season.
There is a $25 seasonal membership fee for Senior OnePass holders. Seniors may make bi-weekly reservations during daylight hours only, 7 days in advance.
Fall - Winter Seasons:
The courts will be open Saturday, September 21 through Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Lights are on 7 days per week from dusk to 9 p.m.
Reservations start on the hour 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The courts have gas heaters to be utilized only when needed and to reduce court time closures after ice and snow storms.
During times of snow, the courts are a low priority and will be cleared after sidewalks and other access ways.
The courts may not be cleared on weekends.
Please do not attempt to clear the courts as the surface may become damaged or unsafe.

Location: Loughlin Avenue Park Courts, Cos Cob.
Court 1 - closest to the field/playground
Court 2 - closest to the tennis courts.

Player Responsibilities:
Players must wear tennis shoes while on the courts.
Players are responsible for locking the courts. Please call and notify us if there is a problem at the courts.
Failure to arrive within 10 minutes of a reserved time slot will result in the forfeiture of the reservation, with the slot reverting to “open time”.
During non-reserved/open time, players are asked to limit play to one hour if others are waiting.
The scheduled reserved and open time slots will be posted at the courts and sent via email to all members.
Adult season members may bring children ages 13 and under to play as long as the children have valid park passes.
The courts will be locked. Players will be responsible for locking up after use. The combination may be changed from time to time. Anyone found giving the combination to a non-registered player, will forfeit their use of the courts and no refunds will be issued.
Players must have some form of identification and must make it available when requested by Recreation Staff.
Registration
Online registration begins July 1 @ 10 a.m.

Residency may be submitted after January 1 and must be verified prior to registration; please allow up to five (5) business days. Verify Residency for the calendar year

Please take note of program registration dates. The content for inactive programs is only to be used for informational purposes. Dates, locations and fees are subject to change.
General Activity Waitlist Policy
Once maximum enrollment has been reached for activity registration, a participant may elect to be placed on a waitlist. Should additional registration spots become available, those on the waitlist will be contacted in numerical order. Once contacted, if the person is still interested in enrollment in the activity, they will have two business days to make payment for the activity fee. If complete payment is not made within two business days, that person will be removed from the waitlist and the next person on the waitlist will be contacted. If the waitlisted person is no longer interested in registering for the activity, then the next person on the waitlist will immediately be contacted. Additionally, if the waitlisted person declines to respond to the Department of Parks and Recreation within two business days, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted.
