ADULT PICKLEBALL INSTRUCTIONAL CLINIC

DESCRIPTION
Learn how to play the fastest growing sport, Pickleball.
Participants must be beginners to the sport and can only enroll in one session.
Only those registered may attend the instructional sessions;
drop-in players will not be permitted to the instructional sessions.
Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of the game, review of the rules, and implementation in games. Those that progress quickly will receive more intermediate instruction and will be grouped accordingly.

SCHEDULE
Session I: Saturdays, January: 6, 13, 20, 27, February: 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Snow date: February 10
Session II: Saturdays, February: 17, 24, March: 2, 9, 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Snow date: March 23

$55 per session

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Participants must wear sneakers while on the courts.
All pickleball equipment will be provided. Players with their own racquet are encouraged to bring it.
Bring a bottle filled with water or sports drink. A water filling station is available at the Civic Center

You must Sign In in to your account to register.

Residency may be submitted after January 1 and must be verified prior to registration; please allow up to five (5) business days. Verify Residency for the calendar year

Beginning November 15, non account holders, may mail in the Registration Form and required documents. Please only mail in a current year Registration Form. Previous year remains available for information only.

PHOTO CLAUSE
The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to use program or event photographs including participants in official Town of Greenwich media only (Website, newsletter, flyers and advertisements, Facebook, and/or Instagram). Please contact the Recreation Office if you object to the use of photographs of you or your child(ren) in Town media.

General Activity Waitlist Policy
Once maximum enrollment has been reached for activity registration, a participant may elect to be placed on a waitlist. Should additional registration spots become available, those on the waitlist will be contacted in numerical order. Once contacted, if the person is still interested in enrollment in the activity, they will have two business days to make payment for the activity fee. If complete payment is not made within two business days, that person will be removed from the waitlist and the next person on the waitlist will be contacted. If the waitlisted person is no longer interested in registering for the activity, then the next person on the waitlist will immediately be contacted. Additionally, if the waitlisted person declines to respond to the Department of Parks and Recreation within two business days, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted.
