Cos Cob Community Preschool
Cos Cob Community Preschool's mission is to provide a safe, happy, fun-loving environment in which children can learn and grow. Children will learn through play and the program serves to help children learn and live by the principles of honesty, compassion and fairness.

Staff encourages each child socially and emotionally and provide them with the confidence they need to find success and feel pride in themselves and the world around them.
Program
Cos Cob Community Preschool is licensed by the State of CT and run by the Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department.
This program is for children who are 3 years old by September 1, 2025, 4 year-olds, and children turning 5 after September 1, 2025.
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Families may sign up for classes 3, 4, or 5 days per week. (Minimum 3 days).
The Cos Cob Community Preschool program runs on the public school schedule with some exceptions.
Eligibility
Currently enrolled families in the program may register beginning 11/15/2024 through 12/15/2024
Enrollment for new families will begin 01/15/2025

General Activity Waitlist Policy
Once maximum enrollment has been reached for activity registration, a participant may elect to be placed on a waitlist. Should additional registration spots become available, those on the waitlist will be contacted in numerical order. Once contacted, if the person is still interested in enrollment in the activity, they will have two business days to make payment for the activity fee. If complete payment is not made within two business days, that person will be removed from the waitlist and the next person on the waitlist will be contacted. If the waitlisted person is no longer interested in registering for the activity, then the next person on the waitlist will immediately be contacted. Additionally, if the waitlisted person declines to respond to the Department of Parks and Recreation within two business days, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted.
