Byram Park – Clambake Picnic Area

The park includes over 30 acres and is located in the Byram shore neighborhood; it includes a beach, pool, boat club, clambake pavilion, playground, marina, and boat launch in addition to sports fields, and walking trails.

Location: 4 Ritch Avenue West, Greenwich, CT 06830.

Parking located behind marina. No parking in picnic permit area.

Picnic Area
A Greenwich resident may reserve one picnic area between May through October.
Picnic hours: 8 a.m. to a half hour before sunset.
Private Events Only. Any event open to the public or selling tickets to the event, must apply for a Special Event Permit. Contact: [email protected]

Fees:
$250 Area Reservation fee without parking
$400 Area Reservation fee includes parking
Fees do not include access to the beach/pool area.
Single entry tickets (purchased in advance) or a valid resident seasonal park pass required to access the beach area. No pool use except for resident pass holders and their (two) guests with a valid pool ticket.

Capacity: 25 - 125

Permit Holder must be a Greenwich Resident, 21 or older to make a reservation and be in attendance at the event.

The Permit Holder takes responsibility to ensure all litter, waste food, and recyclables have been collected and placed in appropriate containers.

Please have a copy of the permit/receipt with you. Town officials may ask to see the permit.

No bonfires, personal grills, amplified music or fireworks.

Picnic Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance.

Resident households may request one picnic and one camping reservation per year.
