Marinas & Boat Yard
There are three marinas as well as one boat yard;

Grass Island Marina

Greenwich Point Boat Yard
11 Tod's Driftway, Old Greenwich, CT 06870
All three marinas and the boat yard have landing floats and launching ramps available to use with a valid Facility Use Permit. These facilities are open April 15 through November 15 each year.
Winter Storage is available at all 3 marinas and the boat yard from September 1 through June 15.
Email the Marine Division or speak to the Dockmaster if you are interested in storing for the winter.
Space and vessel size is limited; current boaters have preference.
Services
We provide a host of services which meet the active boater’s needs (verification of residency required). Please be advised that some services have waitlists.
Moorings
If you are interested in a mooring for a location within the Town of Greenwich, or if you need to renew your current mooring, you will need to complete a mooring application. You can download the application from the Greenwich Harbor Management Commission website. If you have questions, contact their office at 203-622-2259.
Visitors / Transits
Our Grass Island Marina in Greenwich Harbor has tie-up space for visitors and transients. There is no fee for the first 2 hours. Fees apply after two hours or overnight. Fees are based upon vessel size. Call the boating office at Town Hall, 203-618-7651 or the Grass Island Dockmaster at 203-618-9695 or 203-496-1255 to obtain more information or to make a reservation.
Non-Resident Permit Application
We begin accepting Non-Resident Launch Permit applications in person on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Town Hall Parks and Recreation Office starting at 8 a.m.
Resident Permit Application
Verified Residents may apply for a Marine Use Permit and to Launch a vessel by completing Marine Facility Application or if renewing from last year complete Marine Renewal Application and upload to Document Uploads. You must be signed into your resident account.
Applications will not be accepted by email, please upload, mail or drop off in person.
